David
David is the owner/operator of The Hills Driving School, .
David’s aim as your driving instructor is to teach you to become a safe and proficient driver by teaching life long safe driver skills. He enjoys driving and being on the road. David looks forward to the challenge of teaching you to drive. He also holds a car and truck drivers licence that gives him an advantage on other roads users’ when it comes to their view of driving. At the commencement of your first lesson David will ask you about your driving experience up to this point in time. This will give him the opportunity to tailor your lessons to suit your ability and needs. Your first lesson will be about becoming familiar with the car and how to use the controls inside and out.
David is qualified to teach you to drive in a Manual and an Automatic car.
At the conclusion of each lesson David will give you feedback on your lesson in addition to areas that need attention. David will work with you toward your strengths with the ultimate goal of you becoming a lifelong safe driver.
David has taught many people to drive over the years. As a parent and mentor he knows the importance of becoming a lifelong safe driver.
David looks forward to working with you and guiding you to obtaining your driver’s licence.
Richard
Richard founded The Hills Driving School in 2002 and has successfully taught thousands of students how to safely drive in the last 15 years.
Since transitioning the business to his son-in-law Rob in 2017, Richard’s primary focus is now on providing Older Driver tuition and assessments. He believes he can add the most value in this area given his appreciation of driving and patience with aged drivers. Richard is well known in the Driving School industry due to his excellent track record.
